
Jeff, I just was reading Mom's message.. I do indeed miss you.  Like most of my cousin's on Mom's side you were a bit older than me, but I always cherished seeing you.  Your sweet, strong smile and quiet ways I was always happy to be around. Your silent tears at GrandDaddy's funeral service helped my sorrow at losing him be released.  I think my soul recognized a very tender dear spirit in you.  I pray you have found peace and are enjoying God's sweet love and favor.

I remember the day he was born, his sisters stayed at our home on Holly Street for a while that day. He was the youngest grandson of my parents, until my son was born.  I remember, that at his insistence, he stayed with my daddy (his 'Granddaddy Johnson") the night he passed.  Daddy didn't want to tarry any longer, and was ready for his soul to be with The Lord.  He said his farewells to us the earlier that day & wanted us to be with our families.  Guess, he would have been honored to have Jeff & his mom keep watch, and I was greatly com-forted that they stayed with him.  I favored him especially for his gentle loving nature, and tried to let him know how much I loved him whenever possible.  I only wish I could have been there to sit near him & help to convince him to tarry a while longer.  His death was a deep sorrow to all his family, and he left a place that no one else can fill.  So, until we meet again, precious nephew, your Aunt Norma will always remember you with much love.  I figure God must have wanted to have you with Him to show you His Perfect Love, so abide in His Peace.  Love, Aunt Norma

Joyce and Harry, I am so very sorry for the loss of your son.  Jeff was my very first boyfriend and I will always feel blessed by the memory of his kind and generous nature. Jeff was a good friend to my husband. They used to work together. We are so sorry to learn of his untimely passing.  He will be missed.

Jeff was one of the sweetest persons I ever knew.  He was my nephew.  Our family deeply mourns his passing but will cherish him in our hearts forever.
