She is survived by her husband of 38 wonderful years, Craig Smith, and her sisters: Dr. Mariana Morris, Dr. Susan Morris, Cathy Byrnes and Dr. Ellen Morris.
Jeanne retired in May from IT Enterprise and Customer Services at the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.
Jeanne loved the beach and traveling around the world with her husband. She welcomed family and friends into her home for beautiful holiday meals and celebrations. Jeanne valued her special friendship with Dr. Roseanne Cullen and Leon McMorrow.
Jeanne was much-loved as a generous, caring, lively and fun-loving aunt by her nieces and nephews: Mark Cargill, Robert Cargill, Alison Byrnes, Kathleen Byrnes, Chris Byrnes, Victor Magnusson, Evon Magnusson, Melanie Sallis, Alex Smith, Mary Collins and Amy Collins.
Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at St. Mark's Episcopal Church 2128 Barton Hills Drive, Austin, Texas..
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.
