Jean was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts on September 18, 1936. She was baptized as an infant and began her Christian journey of faith with God. She was a long-time member of Hope Lutheran Church in Austin, Texas.
At the age of sixteen she met Hank at the Hillbilly Ranch in Boston, Massachusetts. They were united in marriage on March 25, 1953. They shared everything in life until Hank’s passing in 2019. God blessed them with 66 years of marriage and 5 children.
Jean decided to pursue a career in cosmetology after raising her children. She attended Vogue Beauty College in Austin, Texas and shortly after opened up Jean’s Center Stage Hair Salon. Jean was a strong and determined woman who overcame many challenges in her life.
She loved God, family, and friends, and lived by Faith daily. She dedicated her life to raising her children with a solid foundation in Christ. She enjoyed doing for others and lived life to the fullest. Jean was always ready for the next adventure. She will be missed by all, but her memory will live on in us forever. Heaven has gained a beautiful soul.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband Henry, her eldest son Robert, her parents Alfred W. and Jean Hilda Hart, her stepfather John Greenland, her brothers Robert Reagan and Allen Hart, and her sister Jacklyn Megan.
