I recall working with Jason on a massive network project. He was always helpful and knowledgeable and took pride in his work. I remember I was just starting out with my family our first kid on the way and him sharing tips and advice on parenting. And saying they are a lot of fun. He loved his kids fully.

You were a wonderful work colleague and person who was always on hand to help out and offer assistance no matter how busy you were. I really appreciated working with you, you were a fine mentor and tutor.

I only knew him from a website online, but I knew him for along time. You will be missed brother.

I am so sorry for your loss, may each of you be touched with a since peace as you walk through this journey.  

I took me a bit to understand Jason's sense of humor but once I did, I realized just how deep a person he was!  He was always up for a healthy debate, and he made me think about things from a perspective I hadn't considered before.    

Your smile and laugh will live on forever, rest in peace Jason.

I first met Jason back in '98 when when I started my career with the City of Austin.  Our shared passions for cars and video games quickly solidified into a lasting friendship, one that grew stronger as we journeyed together through various roles within the networking team.  For over 25 years, Jason and I navigated countless network challenges, and were part of many successful network upgrades.  

Beyond the realm of technology, Jason was a devoted husband and a doting father.  His love for his family radiated through every interaction, and his unwavering commitment to their happiness was a testament to his character.  Amidst the demands of our challenging projects, he always found time to prioritize his family, nurturing a bond that remains a testament to his profound capacity for love and care.

Jason's legacy will live on in the intricacies of the city's network, serving as a testament to his extraordinary contributions, both as a dedicated professional and as a loving husband and father. 

Rest in peace, dear friend.  Your memory will forever remain in our hearts and in the enduring legacy of the City of Austin's network.
