Jared Michael Brown transitioned from his earthly life on Sunday, September 8, 2024. He was 34 years old. Born January 10, 1990, Jared was the only child born to Michael and Shelia Brown.
Raised in Pflugerville, Texas, Jared was an active and happy child. In his early years at the age of four, he started playing soccer where he excelled and dominated the field. He attended Brookhollow Elementary School, Parkcrest Middle School and graduated in 2008 from Pflugerville High School. In high school Jared played varsity basketball and basketball became his life- from getting up early in the morning to train, to collecting a lot of basketball cards.
After high school, Jared attended Blinn College in Brenham, Texas and later pursued and received his license as a real estate agent. As he continued to grow in life and his professional career, Jared developed a passion for entrepreneurship, and a desire to leave a legacy for his family and friends. With that passion, he developed and started his own company - Jared Michael & Family, LLC. Though his dream was not fully recognized in his lifetime, it will still live forever in the hearts of his family.
Jared had an old soul but was a kid at heart. He loved Jazz music and was THE number one fan of Batman- so much so, he even named his dog Bruce Wayne. He loved to cook and barbeque, and was like the painter Bob Ross when it came to barbecue- he had that magic touch that produced a work of art but with food. He was quiet but goofy at times, always willing to lend a helping hand and always willing to listen. He was a wonderful man who brought joy and warmth to his loved ones. A gentle spirit who never knew how to get mad. He was a great kid to his parents and a loving husband to his wife. Jared always had the ability to walk into a room and light it up with his beautiful and kind smile.
There are no words to express his influence on those who knew and loved Jared. He never forgot to say “I love you”. He was always there for you when you needed anything, and he always checked on his loved ones to make sure they were okay. He was always the support you needed in rough times. Jared’s spirit was rich and will forever be remembered by all who knew and loved him.
Jared is preceded in death by his father, Michael Brown; his grandfathers, Will Daniel and Harlan Brown, Sr.; his grandmother, Dorothy Brown; and his mother-in-law, Mergelyn Mandilag.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Patrcia Brown; his mother, Shelia Brown; his father-in-law, Andres F. Mandilag, Jr.; his sister-in-law, Nicole Mandilag; his brother-in-law, Jam Mandilag; his half-brother, Cedric Brown; his grandmother, Dorothy Daniel; his uncles, Gary Daniel (Chizura), Stanley Daniel (Lois) and Michael Daniel; his great-uncle, Waymon Fowler, Jr.; his aunts, Sherrie Watrous, Catherine McMillon, Hanan Abdullah, Dolores Young and Ione Brown; and an extensive host of cousins, relatives and friends.
