James studied management at Lesley College in Massachusetts. He had a long career in Business Development & Sales. He worked at Art Semi from 2007-present, SSC Inc 2003-2007; as an Account Executive/Sales; Axcelis in Executive/Sales from 2000-2004; Axcelis as Tactical Marking 1998-2000, European Business Manager/Sales 1992-1998; Genus, Inc 1986-1992; Varian Semiconductor 1976-1986.
He was an avid sports fan (Boston Red Sox) and a lover of music and the arts.
James was predeceased in death by his son Aaron Hart, his brother Leo Hart, his parents Leo J. Hart and Alys C. Hart, and his mother-in-law Rosa Brancaleone.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Maria A. Hart, his daughter Alexandria Hart, his son Brandon (Lexi) Hart, and his grandson Aksel Hart; his sisters Barbara (Max) Ward of West Newbury, Ma, Helena (Frank) Hughes of Boston Ma, Loretta (John) Bromley of New Smyrna FL, and brother Michael (Kim) Hart of Alpharetta GA, many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews, his in-laws Gaetano (Mary) Brancaelone, Rosalie (Leonardo) Vitale, Nancy (Joe) Lucido, Grace (Jesse) Francis, and Lisa (Salvatore) Russo, long-time professional and personal friend Mike Catanzaro, long-time friend Jeffery Case, and many childhood friends. Also, many work associates with whom he shared a special bond.
Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory.
A memorial mass will take place on July 6, 2024 at St. Ann's Church in Gloucester, Massachusetts at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow the service at Calvary Cemetery.
