James Arnold Buise

James met the love of his life Mary Jane Smith while attending school and they were married on December 12, 1964 in Austin, Texas at Southside Church of Christ. James retired from the University of Texas after 30 years of dedicated service as a Custodian in the Andrews Hall. He was a member of Fairview Church of Christ.

James liked to work in the yard, and he loved to play dominoes and bingo. He will be remembered as a loving husband and uncle and will be dearly missed by everyone blessed to have known him.

James is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Mary Jane Buise; nieces, Carol Johnson, Catlin Holston, Mary Kay Berra, Debra Nell Wragg, Kathy Jo Wragg and Durenda Kay Wragg; nephews, Charlie Smith, Robert Smith and Trent Wragg and numerous other loving family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 27, 2012 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home, 6300 W. William Cannon Dr., Austin, TX 78749.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
