Jack was born in Richland Springs, TX to Web and Lena Estella Welch Brown. He served in the Army before becoming involved in the Natural Gas business for his entire life. Jack was a long-time resident of Dripping Springs Texas.
He is predeceased by his brothers Opliss, Billy, Charlie, and Joe Bob, as well as his sister Margaret Brown Meyers, and their spouses.
Jack is survived by his loving wife Jan and their four sons, David, Kenneth (Sheryl), Kelly (Priscilla), and Dennis. Other family members include numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
All that new Jack loved his sense of humor, which always kept them laughing.
A visitation will take place on February 5th from 12:30 – 1pm in the Mausoleum followed by his Interment at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home and Memorial Park at 6300 W. William Cannon Dr. Austin.
I lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Blue Bonnet Hospice, whose nurses cared for him in his final weeks. A special Thank You to the sitters and Hospice Nurses that cared for Jack.
