As a young father Jack helped found and build the Manchaca Optimist Club where his great-grand daughter, Emily, enjoys playing baseball today.
Jack loved hunting, fishing, and all outdoor activities. Jack taught his children and grandchildren love of the outdoors and lead the family on many outdoor adventures.
Jack and Lila enjoyed almost 63 years of marriage and their home has always been the center of activity for their three children, four grand children and eight great grandchildren.
He was a lifetime member of Local 520 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and continued to enjoy the camaraderie of colleagues at monthly lunch meetings in retirement.
Jack was a member of Masonic Lodge #426 A. F. & A. M. and the Galbreath family thanks the Lodge for their officiating at the grave side service.

Jack was preceded in death by Mother, Gertrude Galbreath, father, Vernon Galbreath, and sister, Clarice Galbreath Fogle.
Graveside services will be held, 10:00 am Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Fitzhugh Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank everyone at River City Hospice, especially Knoel Babin, and the staff and management at Brodie Ranch Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center for the compassion, patience, and care they provided to Jack and the family.
