Howard Earl Worley

He was preceded in death by his first wife Hazel, his mother and father, six brothers, and sister.

He is survived by his wife Hilda of 33 years, son Howard Earl, Jr. & wife Brenda of Christoval, Texas, Becky Lenard of Bedford, Texas, step daughter Lynn Hall & Husband John of Spring, Texas, stepson Dwayne Broussard & wife Ursela of Pearland, Texas, sister Mary Hopkins & husband Walter of Austin, Texas, 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Howard had many jobs in his lifetime, a stent in the Navy, and finally settled in Austin, Texas working as the head over the State Printing Division for 50 years. He retired in 1984.

Howard was a 32° mason and a member of Norton Moses Lodge in Leander and Ben Hur Shrine in Austin on the Director’s staff.

A visitation will begin at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 4, 2014 and the funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm at Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills Funeral Home, burial will follow at Liberty Hill Cemetery, Liberty Hill, Texas.
