Holly Marie Miller February 3, 1963 - January 5, 2008 Holly Marie Miller, beloved daughter of Jill and Dyke Miller of Austin, departed this life Saturday, January 5th 2008, peacefully at home following a long term illness. Holly was born in Wurzburg, Germany on February 3, 1963 and moved with her Army family to many locations throughout the United States during her childhood years, settling in Austin in 1981. She graduated from Leslie Groves HS in Birmingham, Michigan and obtained a BS degree at Texas State University in Recreation Administration. She will be remembered for her loving nature, bright smile, beautiful sparkling eyes, strong will and determination, and zest for life. Besides her parents Holly is survived by sister Michele Osemlak of Newaygo, Michigan, her husband Douglas, nieces Violet and Autumn, nephew Justin Reed, sister Dana Aach of Oxford, Michigan, her husband Daniel, nephew Russell, four sets of Uncles and Aunts, one great Uncle and Aunt and numerous cousins throughout the country. The family wishes to thank the hundreds of individuals who offered prayers and support for Holly over the course of the past 15 years, with special recognition of Doctors David Morledge, Michael Shapiro and Michael Gutierrez, Rhonda Ward, RN, FNP and caregivers Brenda Reed and Simona Davila. The family also wishes to express gratitude to the loving faith community of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, especially the Holly angels. A Memorial Service to celebrate Holly's life is planned Friday, January 25th, 2008 at 2:30 pm, St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, 8134 Mesa Drive, Austin.
