Herman Gerhard Lehman, Jr. died February 3, 2006. He was born in Coupland, Texas on July 6, 1912 to Herman and Annie Lehman. He graduated from Giddings High School and Texas Lutheran College in Seguin. Herman worked for the Army Corps of Engineers during WW II and the Texas Department of Transportation as an engineer for over 35 years. He was a founding member of Public Employees Credit Union and served on the Board of Directors for 34 years. In his retirement Herman enjoyed woodworking. He is survived by his wife Edna; sons, H.G. III, Joel and wife Audrey, and Gordon; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild and a sister, Elfrieda Porter. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. and services at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, February 6th at First English Lutheran Church, 3001 Whitis. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at St. Johns Lutheran Cemetery in Paige, Texas. Memorial contributions can be made to First English Lutheran Church or Westminster Health Care Center.
