Helena Mary Word, 70, of Arlington, TX passed away on Friday, January 8, 2010. She was born in Houma, LA on May 18, 1939 to Robert and Helena Word.Helena is preceded in death by her father Robert Word and nephew Robert Shaw.She is survived by her loving mother, Helena Word; brother, Freeman Word; sisters Kathleen and husband Wallace Shaw, Charlene and husband Larry Levy and Patricia and husband Verl Brown. Numerous other loving nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.Visitation will be held on Monday, January 11, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden Forest Oaks Funeral Home, 6300 W. William Cannon Dr.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home with Deacon Wallace Shaw of St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church officiating.
