
I had just seen the both of you at my mom's service, and then at Tommy's.  Even though it had been years since I had last seen either of you, it felt like time had never passed.  I had the best conversation with Harold at Tommy's service.  I'll cherish those memories.  He was always so kind to me.  I pray for peace and comfort for you and your family in the coming days.



When I went to a funeral a few weeks ago, I was pleasantly surprised when I was greeted by Harold with his great big smile and an extended hand. Of course, it's his job to do that, but I had momentarily forgotten that he worked at Weed-Corley-Fish funeral home. He was made for the job. With that smiling face that showed he was genuinely glad to see you, he had a way of making everyone feel special and welcomed. Little did I know it would be the last time I would see him. Harold was an inspiration and when I try to think how I can be more like Jesus, I will remember to think of Harold.



Nathan & I have so much love and respect for Harold and Joyce. We are so sorry to hear of his passing. He always had a smile and something to make us laugh. Prayers for the family. Love you very much Joyce!



Harold was my mentor and guide and 2nd dad when I was younger.  He and Joyce were loving and always there for me.  Words cannot express how much I love them both.  I will miss you so much.  You will be missed.



Harold Deal, one of my favorite people ever. We had just had a conversation a couple of weeks ago, and I'll treasure that talk forever. Always a smile, always a kind word. You will be missed, my brother in Christ.

Harold Deal was one of the finest men I have ever known. He was very interesting and enjoyed life to its fullest. Harold loved his wife and family to the fullist. The world has lost a wonderful human.

Sending prayers to Harold's family. He was such a kind man and a friend to some of us at St. Ignatius Martyr (Austin). He would always greet us, tell us a joke, and give us a "care package" of mints. He will be missed. May God receive this kind soul.



My heart was saddened this week at the loss of one of the finest Christian that I could be blessed to call my friend. I know that Heaven is rejoicing for Harold has made it home, but he will be truly missed.   I first met Joyce and Harold over 40 years ago, and they were always present for me and my family through the happy and the difficult times.   Joyce and Harold knew the true meaning of Christian friend.  A friend you could confide in and never worry about judgement, but found peace in the assurance they would be praying for you.  Joyce, Robby, and Shaun I want you to know even though distance keeps us from seeing each other.know you are always in my heart and memories.

 A true Christian inspiration for friends and family .... thank you Harold!



May God receive Harold's beautiful soul into everlasting happiness!  I thoroughly enjoyed visiting with Harold whenever I went to the funeral home for a prayer service or visitation.  He and I had a connection with the little mints in the funeral home.  Once when I went there they didn't have any mints left, so I "complained" and told him I wouldn't come there again.  Every single time he saw me after that, Harold would give me a little envelope of mints to keep my stock filled!  What a kind and wonderful man. Harold has been a part of our lives for the past 25 years. Rene, Nicholas, Sophia and I all have the most wonderful memories of Harold and Joyce. We will forever hold Harold's memory and spirit close to our hearts. Words just can't express how much we relied on Harold, his advice and how much he will truly be missed.



Harold you have been a part of our family most of my life and I have so many fond and precious memories!!! I'm so very glad that I made it to Judy's birthday party at Joyce's urging and got to spend time with you and Joyce and many other family members!! You will be kept close to my heart in my many memories of you!!! Love and Hugs to Joyce and the boys and their families!!!! Fly high dear Harold!!!!
