Georgia Fay Robbins

Georgia Fay Robbins, age 95, of Austin, Texas, died on Saturday, July 12, 2008. She was born on April 28, 1913, in Caldwell, Texas, to James Oscar Ellis and Martha Adeleine Ellis. Georgia was a member of Hyde Park Baptist Church and the church librarian for many years. She also worked as a librarian in the Austin Independent School District for over thirty years. Georgia was a member of the Austin Women's Club, Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority, and a volunteer with the St. David's, Pink Ladies. Georgia was preceded in death by her husband, William Roland Robbins, and by her two sisters and two brothers. She is survived by her brother-in-law, Douglas O. Huddle of Baytown, Texas; niece, Cindy McGlothlin and husband Pat of Kingwood, Texas; nephew, Doug Huddle and wife Dian of Houston, Texas; and by numerous great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16th with funeral services following at 1:00 p.m. in the Weed-Corley-Fish Chapel, officiated by her nephew-in-law, Pastor Pat McGlothlin, of Crossroads Church in Kingwood, Texas.
