Gail Arlene DePaulo, 75, passed away October 17, 2014 in her home in Austin, Texas after a two year struggle with cancer. Born October 24, 1938 in Patterson, New Jersey, Gail moved to California, married, raised three children and thrived running the family medical business. Gail spent 18 years in Phoenix, Arizona before moving to Austin, Texas in 2013 where her daughter, Lisa, could be her care taker and companion in fun.
Gail is also survived by her two other daughters, Cheri and Jenna as well as a granddaughter, Tamara, grandson, Kaelen and her two dogs, Rascal and Marco. Gail found a new life and invigoration in Austin where she loved to shop, dine, socialize with her new friends at Longhorn Village and enjoy time in her RV, “Lucy”.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, October 24, 2014 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home, followed by Interment at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park. A Celebration of Gail’s Life will continue at Longhorn Village, 12501 Longhorn Parkway Austin, TX 78732 at 4:00 P.M. in the 40 area room.
