
Freddie Ann and I were neighbors and best of friends when growing up in Dripping spring.  She will be missed.



Freddie was one of the first people I met after moving to Windsor Park in 1985.  She was serving as an election clerk at the polling place in Memorial United Methodist Church's gymnasium, and she warmly welcomed me to the neighborhood.  In later years we served together as election judges for countless elections.  She was a delight to be around and I will miss her so much.



When we think of Freddie, we remember a woman of strong character and faith, ...one who wouldn't take no for an answer.  She was determined to get others involved in a project, no matter how small it was.  We always enjoyed our strolls together, our numerous conversations, and shared goodies. We still laugh when we think of her yelling at cars to slow down on our street, and always call the speed bumps in the neighborhood "Freddie's bumps":D   She was never afraid to talk to anyone, and she had a spark in her eyes like no other.  We will miss her greatly, but know we will be reunited in Heaven again someday.



Don,     Your Mom always made time for everyone and that included me.  She was the inspiration for my college education.  She is a special spirit that will live on in lives of everyone she touched and she was blessed to touch many lives.  She helped shape the character and value system of so many young minds over the years, and I am blessed to have been one of those!  I was in a horrific car accident a few years back and fond memories of belly-laughs with your Mom and her unflappable inner strength, was a beacon of light that brought me strength and perseverance through a very tough time.      May God bless you and your family.  As you rejoice in the love and joy she brought into this world may God comfort you all and bring you and your family peace through this most difficult time. Don:    I cant begin to convey to you how sorry we are for your loss. No matter the situation, there is no good time to lose a parent. I am very aware of your unselfish dedication to your Mom and we truly feel your pain.      We will say prayers for all of you to get through this most difficult time.



Freddie has touched many lives including my own.  I have spent many hours chatting with Freddie about life, family, and friends.  I will miss her insight and her direct nature.  She has been a source of strength and courage for me in challenging times. God be with her family and friends as we all mourn her passing.  She may be gone from the earth but will never leave our hearts.



Freddie was like a second mom to me. She was always kind to me, but wouldn't let Kevin and I get away with anything! She will be missed, but I'm thankful to have had her influence in my life.



Freddie was a fixture in the neighborhood who roamed beyond the limits of her wheelchair. Her heart was gold yet it easily broke into pieces when her love was not enough to make things right. I learned a lot from her as a community activist, a neighborhood leader and organizer, a believer and faithful follower of God and Jesus, but mostly I learned to love my children and to offer support when others need it most. I will miss her dearly and will cherish her spirit in me.



We remember Freddie fondly from Thanksgiving a few years back.  She was always interested in the kids, wanted to be near them, and was very good with them.  She seemed to take a lot of joy in being near her sons and their families. She will be remembered as a very kind and loving person.
