He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Anna M. Koval; his daughters, Karla Galloway of Couer D’Alene, Idaho, Karen (DiDi) Standard of Cedar Hill, and Alexandra Halliday of Lago Vista; three granddaughters, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Leona Barnard of Moorhead, Minnesota and Vonnie Anderson of Hillsboro, North Dakota.
Frank spent 33 years in the U.S. Navy and retired as a Captain. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from USC in California and obtained a master’s degree from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
Frank enjoyed woodworking and gardening during his retirement years. He was known by all of his neighbors as the “go-to-guy.”
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 3, 2011 in the Chapel of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home.
