Fern Louise Hecker

Fern Louise Hecker, 75, of Dripping Springs, Texas passed away Saturday December 18, 2021 surrounded by her family after an amazing day of lunch and Christmas shopping. She was born on March 2nd, 1946

in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was the most loving sister, wife, mother, grandma, and Gigi.

She was such a kind soul; never putting herself first as she had the biggest heart and would do

anything for anyone. She loved to cook and one of her fondest traditions was making lumpia with her family for Christmas and New Year’s.

She married Robert M. Hecker February 2nd, 1962 and started her family living the military life raising their 4 children. In 1984 she began a career in food service in the healthcare industry. After retiring in 2004 Fern and Robert enjoyed traveling, cruising, camping, and going to Casinos, but most of all spending time with their family. She will live on forever in our hearts.

She is survived by her daughter, Tina Louise Hecker, son Robert Andrew Hecker, daughter, Diana Lynn Garcia (Eddie) son Dion Leroy Hecker (Jennifer); grandchildren Emily Robinson, Sarah Hecker (Alex), Marissa Hecker (Patrick), Katie Griffin (Christopher), Joshua Garcia (Andie), Michelle Hecker (Michael), Jenna Garcia, Robert Nault, Ashley Klein (Jason), Haley Nault, Jacob Hecker, Lauren Hecker; Chasity Blair and Chase Blair, great grandchildren, Ava Vallejo, Isaac Martinez, Adrian Martinez, Ayden Martinez, Aria Garcia, Nora Klein, Piper Griffin; sister, Lois Brissey, Tom Corum, Susie Wood, and John Corum of Tennessee, Vicky Richards of Maryland, Jimmy Richards of Texas, and also nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents Mel and Beatrice Corum.
