Felix M. Vela Felix Vela, beloved son, brother and friend, was called home by our Merciful Father on Saturday, November 20, 2004, after a battle with cancer. Felix was born November 27, 1954 in Austin. He graduated from Crockett High School in 1972 and later received his degree from Southwest Texas State University. His mother, Dolores M. Saenz-Sanchez, precedes him in death. He is survived by his father, Roland M. Vela, Sr.; brother, Roland Vela, Jr.; sisters, Elizabeth Garcia and husband Gilbert, Anna Sanchez and husband Carlos, Sr., Mary Saucedo and husband Hector; brother, Mario Saenz; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 7:00 9:00 P.M. on Monday, November 22 at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 23, in the Chapel of Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Onion Creek Memorial Park.
