Faustino (Frosty) A. Martinez, 71 of Austin passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2016 surrounded by his family. Faustino is survived by his wife Dora of 52 years, daughter Delia (Roy) Arellano; son Faustino Jr.; daughter Sonia M. (Adam); 6 sisters; 2 brothers; 6 grandchildren, April (Chris), Christian, Mikaela, Elijah, Caleb and Abby; 3 great grandchildren, Tyson, Harper and Brennar. As well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dolores and Apolinar Alvarez.

Faustino (Frosty) was born on April 14, 1945 in Lockhart Texas. On January 25, 1964 he married Dora Gonzales. Faustino was employed at Austin Independent school District for many years and retired to enjoy time with his grandchildren.

A special thank you to the staff at Promiseland Church for their prayers and support. The family would also like to thank St. David's Hospital, UMCU Brackenridge ICU unit and HealthSouth Rehabilitation for their care.

Memorial Service will be at Cook Walden Funeral Home on Monday, May 9, 2016 at 10:00 a.m.
