Eva had a passion for music, especially as a lifelong fan of the Backstreet Boys, her local favorite Vallejo, and Eva’s most personal and passionate support for her boys, the REVO Live Band,
Eva’s undeniable love, humor, wit, ability to be a baby whisperer extraordinaire, and her willingness to always help a friend in need will be tremendously missed by all those who loved her. Eva was a thread tightly weaved throughout our families and although we will miss her larger than life presence, we know she is rocking out in heaven with her Dads and Grandparents.
She is preceded in death by her father,; John X. Buentello Sr. and George Govea Sr.; grandparents, Marcellino & Elsie Mata; John P. Buentello; Lucio & Esperanza Govea.
Eva is survived by her mother, Lisa M. Mata-Buentello; her grandmother, Josie M. Buentello; Godmother, Karen Rodela (Nana-Momma); her brothers, Johnathan X. Buentello (Jennifer); Jacob Buentello (Miranda); Joseph Buentello; Joey Buentello, Aaron Buentello, George Govea Jr.(Andrea); her sisters, Marissa Buentello, Elsie Buentello, Nephews, Jayce Buentello, John Jiovanni Buentello; Nieces, Jennalise Buentello, Georgie Olivia Govea as well numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins; other loving family and friends.
A visitation for Eva will be held Saturday, July 22, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with the recitation of the holy rosary occuring at 7:00 PM at Weed Corley Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Avenue, Austin, Texas 78704. A funeral service will follow the next day, Sunday, July 23, 2023 at 1:00 PM, also at Weed Corley Fish Funeral Home.
