Eva Jo Chappell, 70, was called to her heavenly home on November 20, 2015. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her in the struggle with cancer and ultimately gave her peace.

She is survived by her husband, Earcle of 25 years; her children, Barry (Rhonda) and Gary Haliburton, Chris (Elizabeth) and Kelly (Leslie) Chappell, and Jennifer (Jarod) Dierksheide; her siblings JC Alexander, Etta McPherson and Rudy Alexander.
Eva was blessed with many grandchildren who were her life and true joy: Nicole, Clara, Celeste, Finn, Brela, Lila, Aria, Ellie, and one on the way; and her great grandchildren Kynslee and Kasen.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 24th at 11:00am at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 N. Lamar Blvd. Eva will be buried in Liberty Hill Cemetery immediately following the service. Dr. David Proctor will be officiating.
