A lifelong Austinite, Ernesto “Ernie” Padron was an outstanding electrician having dedicated his adult life to the trade. The love for his daughter, wife and family does not end with his passing since Ernie touched the lives of everyone that crossed his path.
Ernie was known for being there for anyone and everyone, he was known to make those around him laugh and making everyone around him happy and at ease; his contagious laughter will continue to be heard by everyone who knew him. His positive energy and charisma were his greatest attributes, given this, Ernie was always surrounded by his friends, family, and even random people that wanted to spend time with him and hear what he had to say. Ernie was a conversationalist.
Ernie’s biggest passion was helping others, he loved to extend a helping hand to anyone that needed it asking nothing in return. This extended to even complete strangers, purchasing items from small vendors just to help them out, even though he did not need said items. For this reason, Ernie has and will always have an endless list of friends.
Ernie’s biggest love and joy was his wife and daughter, two people of most importance in his life; they were his rocks. Ernie could not stand being away from them at any point, always doing his best at keeping his family together till the very end. He was a family man, always being the first one to arrive at family gatherings with his loves.
Uncle Ernie also known as “Uncle Bernie” was a fun, loving and playful uncle. All his nieces and nephews will forever remember his sense of humor, his jokes, and even his lack of filter – this made Uncle Bernie the best uncle around.
Ernie will not be forgotten; his memory will always live on in the hearts and minds of his family and friends. We will forever miss you Ernie.
Ernie is survived by his loving wife, Elisabeth Padron and daughter Ariana Padron; his parents Crescencia Robledo and Ernesto Padron Sr.; brothers and sisters, Diana Faz, Maria Rosas, Francisco Padron, Gabino Padron, Veronica Padron and Cynthia Padron.
