
I'll miss E.G.'s sweet face and the warm hug he had for me every time I saw him. Softball games won't be the same without him. My sympathy goes out to the loved ones he left behind.

Like so many others, I came to know Pat and EG many years ago from playing softball.  You can't talk about EG without including Pat in the same conversation because they were so much alike and enjoyed the same things in life.  The loss of these two wonderful and very special people will leave an irreplaceable void in the lives of all who knew and loved them.  While both family and friends will morn EG's passing for a long time to come, I've no doubt the Angels in Heaven are rejoicing and singing louder than ever over the addition to their heavenly family.  We'll miss EG so very very much!



I have played softball since I was old enough to hit things (trust me that was early) and as long as I can remember Pat and EG have been around watching my sisters and I play ball.  Losing one of them was heartbreak losing the both of them somehow lessens the whole sport of softball and a part of my life.      They have the best seats in the house now.



E.G. was truly a wonderful person. He would always give me a hug and cheer on the Beer Bats at the softball fields; except when playing the Austin Angels.  He will be dearly missed. Prayers go out to the family. God Bless his soul.



Eg and Pat made the softball fields feel like a family affair. Unfortunately I was no longer playing softball when we lost Pat, and I was out of town for EGs last party. It feels as though I have lost my father and grandfather all over again. This world needs more EG’s. He has touched the life of so many people and he will deeply missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his entire family, both blood relatives and his softball family.



EG will always hold a special place in my heart and I will miss him a lot. He was so sweet and softball will not be the same without him. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.



E.G. was my "adopted dad", and I will miss him SOOO much.  Softball is never going to be the same without E.G. there - it was already less fun after Pat left us, but E.G. maintained the title of Most Loyal Fan, even after he had to quit driving at night and I would pick him up for the games.  He was always glad to come out and cheer us on as long as it was above 50 degrees!  I am so glad we took him to the Hula Hut for a get-together on the 30th - I think he had a really good time.  My most sincere condolences to his family.
