Ellen Jane Forster

Ellen Jane Forster, 61, of Austin passed away on Monday, February 25, 2008. She was born January 20, 1947 in Mexico, Missouri to Charles Thomas and Anna (Smith) Johnson. After graduation from high school, Ellen completed cosmetology school, became a beauty salon owner, and in addition, was a licensed day care owner. She was also a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Ellen's interest included childcare, crafts, shopping, and most of all her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Joseph R. Forster; her children, DeAnna Bahr and husband Bruce, Jammie Hogan, Kevin Hogan, Shanna Spurling, Jeff Forster and wife Angie and David Forster and wife DeAnn; grandchildren, Meagan Bentzen, Paula Hogan, Kevin Shawn Hogan, Kayli Haywood, Aiden Hogan, Justin Forster, Brittney Forster, Joseph Forster, Joshua Forster and Jennifer Forster; and 2 great –grandchildren. Ellen was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Charles Johnson, Betty Schulte and Donald Johnson; and her step-father, Arnold Cox. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 28th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 29, 2008 in the Weed-Corley-Fish Chapel. Burial will follow at Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.
