Elizabeth "Liz" Smith

Elizabeth Smith, “Liz”, age 74, of Lago Vista, Texas entered the gates of Heaven on April 7, 2011. Liz was a loving mother, grandmother and a friend to all she met. Liz was retired from AT&T with 38 years of service and over 30 years of perfect attendance. She was also an active volunteer in Austin including a long history with Austin Aqua Festival and the Pioneers. She will be greatly missed by all those who were blessed to know her. She was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy, of 32 years and her parents, Ralph and Virgie Mae Boyles. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Amy Leigh Hillman and her husband, Dwayne, and her granddaughter, Brittany Rose. Memorial services will be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the 7th of May 2011, at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas.

The family wishes to thank all the nurses, friends and family for their outpouring of love, care and concern during Liz’s battle with cancer.
