Elizabeth "Beth" Ann Smallwood

Elizabeth Ann "Beth" Smallwood, 79 went to be with our Heavenly Father on May 16th, 2022, while at home. Beth was born in Longview, Texas on April 19th, 1943, to William Allen Smallwood, a technical engineer, and Winona Elizabeth Vogel-Smallwood, a housewife, who both predeceased her as well as an older brother David. Beth graduated from Permian High School in Odessa, Texas in 1961. She attended the University of Texas at Austin graduating in 1968 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Master of Arts in Special Education in 1974. Beth was a Certified Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Beth is survived by her cousins: Mollie Miller of Georgia, Frances Langdon of North Carolina, Julie Scheer of Colorado, and Mari Fields of Georgia, Beth leaves behind many friends that will miss her gracious love, caring heart, and big smile.

A memorial service for Elizabeth will be held Thursday, June 30, 2022, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home, 6300 West William Cannon Drive, Austin, Texas 78749. The service will take place in the mausoleum which is located in the cemetery behind the funeral home.
