Elizabeth was born on May 5, 1976. She grew up in Dallas where she attended Plano East High School. She was a strong and popular student evidenced by the fact that friends and teachers were still part of her life, and, in fact, several attended her 40th birthday party only a few years ago. Elizabeth went on to receive her BA in Sociology at the University of Texas at Austin in 1999. She then began a career as project manager and, most recently, spent a decade at the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, where she was Vice President of Project Management until the summer of 2021.
Elizabeth was also active in her community. She was a former member of The Elizabeth Ann Seton Board and was a past trustee of Austin's Girlstart.
Elizabeth met Jason Seriff in 1999 and they were married in May 2003. In June 2008, they were blessed with the arrival of their daughter, Maya.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband Jason and daughter Maya, her father John Vandevere, sister Renee Vandevere, in-laws Carolyn and Marc Seriff and Karen and Holger Opderbeck, and brother-in-law Daniel Seriff. She is preceded in death by her mother, Sybil Vandevere.
