Elizabeth G. Scott

Elizabeth was born February 9th, 1926 in San Antonio. She married Lee R. Scott on August 26, 1950. They were happily married until his death in 1995. She lived in Austin from 1961 to 2010, in 2010 she moved to Miami, FL to live with her daughter. She was employed by the University of Texas for most of her professional career. She was an active member of Memorial United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee R. Scott, and her sister, Gertrude G. Carmines. She is survived by her son, Randy Scott and wife, Donann, of North Richland Hills, TX; daughter, Lisa VanOstrand of Miami, FL; grandson, Christopher Scott and wife, Colleen, of Lewisville, TX; and nephew, Danny Carmines and his children.

Should friends desire, donations may be made to the charity of their choice.

Visitation will be held for Elizabeth G. Scott from six o'clock to eight o'clock in the evening on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Cook-Walden Funeral Home 6100 North Lamar, Austin, Texas 78752.

Graveside services will be at three o'clock in the afternoon on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home 14501 N. IH-35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660.
