She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton Secord; her parents, John and Florence McCoy; sister, Vivian Clark and her husband Ed; sister, Florine Pearce and her husband, Paul; brother, Bobby McCoy; and a nephew, Paul Pearce, Jr. Also going before her was her dear friend Eva Adams.
She is survived by nephew, Craig McCoy and wife Kim; nieces Brenda McCoy and spouse Eileen and Jean Peck and husband George; sister-in-law Janice; nephew, Johnny Pearce and wife Joyce; great nephews, Paul Jason Pearce and wife Darci, John Pearce and fiancé Malissa Necessary; great nieces, Laura Dandridge and husband Steven, Jane Ann Pearce and husband Neil Haycocks and Amy Montenegro and husband Aldo; and great great niece, Evolet Montenegro. She will also be missed by dear friends Cathey Hollaway, Cathie Nall and Camille Nall Landry.
A graduate of Austin High School, she was employed with Southwestern Bell Telephone for 41 years and with the Blood and Tissue Center of Austin for two years. She loved working at the Blood and Tissue Center.
A member of the Asbury United Methodist Church, she loved to make friends and enjoy life. She was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers and the Communications Workers of America for 40 years.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., on Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 3125 North Lamar, Austin TX 78705.
There will be a private graveside service at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, July 6, 2016, for family and close friends.A Memorial Service and Reception to celebrate her life will be at 1:30 p.m., on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 in the auditorium at Provident Crossings Retirement Community, 1950 S. A.W. Grimes Blvd, Round Rock, TX 78664.
