Dorothy Marie Turpen

Dorothy Marie Turpen born Dorothy Marie Wagner on January 22, 1945 in Austin Texas to Dorothy Evelyn Wagner (Simmank) and Walter A. Wagner. She married Richard Turpen in 1962 and has three children. Dorothy passed peacefully to heaven to be with Richard on June 16, 2018.

Dorothy is survived by two daughters and one son, Sheila Lopez of Rockdale, Venita Smith and husband, Dennis of Briarcliff and Ricky Turpen of Rockdale; one brother, Lonnie A. Wagner and wife Diane of Burnet County; six grandchildren and their spouses, Tony Lopez and wife Amanda, Joey Lopez and wife Stephanie, Daniel Lopez and wife Heather, Billy Phillips and wife Chenell, Cody Phillips and wife Melissa, and Tiffany Turpen; twelve great-grandchildren, Mckena, Steven, Mason, Nicholas, Zachary, Jaycee, Ashtyn, Austin, William, Olivia, Landon, and Addison.

She was proceeded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Turpen; brother, Larry A. Wagner; and grandson, Michael J Phillips.

Family visitation will be from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress.

Funeral Service 10:30 am on Thursday, June 21, 2018, Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
