Dorothy Lee Allison, age 80, of Florence, Texas passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2012. She was born April 23, 1931 to Irvalee (White) and Archie Herman Simpson in Austin, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Pete “B.J.” Cantwell and Charles Edward Simpson; and sister, Ruby Lee Simpson Pruett.
Dorothy is survived by Wilburn Herman Simpson, Jimmy Ray Simpson, Floyd Earl Simpson, Eugene Simpson, Calvin W. Simpson, Billy J. Simpson, Fred G. Simpson, Pauline Simpson Swartzlander and Christene Simpson Watts.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
