Doreen Ann Carbone

Doreen Carbone, age 59, passed away on July 6, 2024, in Austin, TX. She was born October 17, 1964 San Francisco, CA to Reynold Pastor Aldaya and Cecilia Bayot Aldaya. She was a daughter, sister, cousin, friend, an avid Pug mom to Sandals, Fiji, and Baby A, and a beloved wife to Johnny. She graduated from Capuchino High School in 1982, afterwards, she ventured into various travel-related positions such as working for a cruise company in hospitality. She then found her true passion working for Southwest Airlines in 1987. She held a few positions at Southwest until she finally became a flight attendant, and she has been with the company for over 30 years.

Doreen’s passion for dogs was evident. She spent countless of hours on Austin’s aka Baby A’s Instagram page that garnered over 2,000 followers and with her enthusiasm it was infectious.

In 1998, Doreen met Johnny, and they were married in 2000. He’s a devoted spouse and cherished Doreen since day 1.

Doreen was known for her charm, wit, beauty and strength and was admired by all who knew her. She will be deeply, deeply missed by her family, friends and community.
