Donald "Jack" John Galbreath

Jack was born October 14th, 1961 to Donald Hugh and Patricia Ann in Sewickley, Pennsylvania. He was the oldest son of 7 children.

Jack joined the National Guard in 1980 and served for 3 years. After his term of service he worked as a dedicated lube tech at Quick Lube in Austin Texas for over 30 years.

Jack met his wife Sharon Elaine through his best friend and her brother Tim in 1979. They married on May 5th 1985 and were happily married almost 38 years. They had 3 children, Timothy Ryan, Dustin John and Heather Elaine.

Jack retired in 2010 and enjoyed many trips with his wife and family. He also enjoyed watching ALL sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers. He was a devoted husband, loving father, and the very best Bubba a grandchild could ever ask for. His grandchildren were his world and they were the most precious gift he’d ever received.

Jack is preceded in death by his son, Dustin and parents, Donald and Patricia.

Jack is survived by his loving wife, Sharon, children Ryan (Lindsey) and Heather (Mike); grandchildren, Kaleb, Noah and Aurora; his brothers and sisters, and numerous loving aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and cousins.

Services will be held January 15th 2023 at Hyde Park Church of Christ 310 W. 43rd Street, Austin, Texas 78751. Visitation from 2pm-3pm and memorial service followed at 3 pm. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to a charity of your choice.
