Don graduated from Crockett High School in Austin, TX. Don was a gentle and kind man. He was a devoted father to his son, Cade. He had a love for history, fishing, outdoors, and music. Don also was an avid fan of Florida State Seminoles Football.
Don is survived by his son, Cade Parks; his mother, Bonnie Anderson; his father, Don Parks, Sr.; his sisters, Cathy Jones (Ernie), Joy Anderson, and Kimberly Brown (Matt). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, and many lifelong friends. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, John Anderson.
A visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Saturday, January 23 at the Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 S Congress Ave, Austin, TX. On Sunday, January 24 a memorial service will be held at 2:30 pm at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home. Casual dress.
