Reading over all these tributes reminded me of what a special
lady she was and how everyone captured who she really was.  We
should all wish to have lived the life she did and be aware of how many lives she touched.  She was such a wonderful example of grace.  How blessed we all were to have known her.  Blessings to all her family and friends as we seek to emulate all she stood for.  Kay Braziel

What a blessing Diana was to me and what an impact she had on my life!  Having spent long summer days with Diana all our childhood years, I have such wonderful memories of her. ...playing dress-up, sharing books and secrets, going  to movies, swimming at Deep Eddy, mischievous adventures in the neighborhood, laughing and learning.
  Diana was a creative, thoughtful and fun loving person.....a special cousin to me.

I do not remember a time when Diana was not in my life.  She was very much like a second Mom to me, often providing guidance and unconditional love.  She was there for all the important parts of my life - graduation. wedding, childbirth, etc.  My memories are vast, reading to me when I was little, dinners with the families, playing outside, picnics, Ranch events, baby showers, etc.  Although my heart hurts I know I was blessed to have known her.  

Diana and I always visited about our children and hers are precious.  I remember a favorite memory is our chuckling over our attraction to the same design in our wardrobes. On two occasions, we arrived at functions dressed as twins, pretending we didn’t notice😊. She was an elegant lady I always enjoyed.
May God bless you boys and families as you celebrate your mom’s life and influence in yours.  She was a joy.

I am so sorry for your loss.  I met Diana at the chapel that she worshipped in weekly.  We sat together and she was such a wonderful, friendly lady. I really enjoyed her company and I will miss seeing her every week. 

Her family is in my prayers.  

The Williams family is in our thoughts and prayers.  We always
felt that Diana was such a gracious and caring person and never failed to greet us with a beautiful smile and kind words.  We enjoyed sharing our visits to England with both Diana and Rod and relating our latest  adventures with each other.  How proud you all must be to have had such honorable parents and grandparents. My Mother Bitsy grew up in Austin with Diana and they were dear friends.  We would always have a nice dinner when Mom would visit from Houston, and the two of them enjoyed each other immensely.
They were 2 peas in a pod, so much alike.

When Nancy and I moved to Austin we lived across the street from Rod and Diana and their boys -Evan, Jeff and Witt. Thus began a friendship lasting more than 50 years! Some of my families favorite memories are the times spent at Pedernales River with a group of friends that labeled themselves "the Pedernales River Gang"! 
I'm sure we shall all gather at the river again in the life to come!

I am so very sorry for your loss of Diana.  She was a wonderful and kind person.  I have some wonderful memories of her when I was a small child and we would be in Pearsall at our grandparents together.  She was always so patient with her "little cousin" that probably drove her crazy.

I was blessed to meet Diana in the mid-sixties.  She and Rod had boys near my children’s ages.  Diana was always a loving, considerate and concerned mother and friend.  She left a legacy of friendship, love ,  dee coates poole


Never sweethearts, always closest friends. 
We bonded in our shared home room beginning in Allen Junior high and through Austin High School and The University of Texas. Afterwards, keeping contact until now. Diana, a native Austinite, took me in as an outsider and befriended me in countless ways. One major way was through reconciling my relationship with my high school sweetheart who became my much beloved wife of 57 years. I will always treasure my friendship with my precious friend, Diana.

<3 the very best grandmother I could have ever asked for. Wanted to share the memory of going by any time of the day, sitting in her sun room, and visiting. Our favorite things to talk about were books, nature, travel and fashion. I will deeply miss these visits along with her loving, caring, and incredibly intellectual self. We love you, Didi! Thankful you are with Poppy and now our guardian angel.
