Diana Marie Haggard

Born on July 10, 1950, in Sandusky, Ohio, to Joseph and Marietta Koelsch. She moved to Texas in 1970 and found the love of her life Russell Haggard where they married in 1972.

Diana attended St. Mary's Central Catholic School in Sandusky. She later pursued a career in the printing industry, working with companies such as Hart Graphics and Envelope Solutions, where she specialized in custom envelopes before retiring.

In her retirement, Diana enjoyed playing casino slots and online games. She also cherished traveling and spending time with her grandchildren—moments that brought her great joy.

Family was at the heart of Diana’s life. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Melinda Castillo (Candelerio) and Regina Medrano (Michael); her grandchildren, Karlena Haggard, Richard Hulsey III, Shelby Davis, and Zoey Cuellar; and her great-grandchild, Kayden Nance.

Diana was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Marietta Koelsch; husband, Russell Haggard; and brother, David Koelsch.

A visitation for Diana will be held Thursday, April 17, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 2620 South Congress Avenue, Austin, TX 78704. A graveside service will occur Friday, April 18, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Haynie Chapel Cemetery, 16309 Greenwood Dr, Garfield, TX 78617.
