Debra Yvonne Wright

Sister Debra Wright accepted Christ as her personal Savior. She became a faithful member of Greater St. John’s Baptist Church of Austin, Texas, where she served as head usher and cook. In her leisure time, she enjoyed being at church, taking trips, barbeque’s and fishing. Sister Debra enjoyed helping, caring, and cooking for others as well as spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ammie Wright; mother, Gussie Wright; and beloved sister, Peggy Thompson. She leaves to cherish her memory four brothers and two sisters, Ammie Wright (Slim) of Kyle, Texas, Val Wright King of Texas City, Christopher St. Ann of Elgin,  Texas, Tonya Wright Hill, Anson Wright of Chicago, Illinois and Ammie Wright. She also leaves to cherish her memories four daughters, Alysia Clemons, Stephanie McKenzie, Dnishia Butts of Louisville, Kentucky, and Latasha Johnson(Tisha)(Chris); one son, Charles Johnson; and host of grandkids, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends, and Greater St. John’s Baptist Church Family.
