Deborah was born November 10, 1965, in Houston, Texas to John and Nelda Polanco. She graduated from Crockett High School, in Austin, and received her associates from Austin Community College. She attended Southwest Texas where she was in the marching band and met and later married, the love of her life, Dwight Wisdom. 1995 they had a daughter Denise Anna-Marie. Deborah was a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister. She will be missed dearly.
Deborah was the first born to John and Nelda Polanco. As a child she had a love for animals and a love of music. Deborah was a member of the Crockett Marching Band when they won the State Championship. This was something she was very proud of. Deborah was employed as a teacher’s assistant for AISD and worked at Kiker Elementary. She loved her co-workers and she dearly loved working with the children.
Deborah’s daughter, Denise, was the joy of her life. She always attended her daughter Denise’s events at Ann Richard School, and was very proud of her accomplishments. Deborah always expressed that she loved and cared for her daughter very much. She never let Denise go without and provided her with a fulfilling life. She was a wonderful mother who cared more about her daughter than she did herself.
Deborah is survived by her parents, John and Nelda Polanco of Kyle; daughter, Denise Wisdom of Austin; sister, Christina Davis and husband Jason of Waco; two nieces; Lauren and Jillian Davis of Waco.
Deborah is preceded in death by her husband, Dwight.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Avenue, with Recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 pm. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
