At a young age, the Frames moved to Dallas, Texas where David graduated from South Oak Cliff High in 1968. David had a very strong passion for music from a very early age. One Christmas when he was young, he received a drum set that fueled is love of music, but his true love was his bass guitar.
David played in several bands in the Dallas area before moving to Austin, Texas in early 1972 with the band Blackbird. He then went on to play bass for many other bands throughout his time in Austin. He met Robin in 1972 and they married in 1973.
David stepped back from the music scene to start a career and family. He started with the City of Austin, but ultimately became a graphic artist. David kept his passion for music leading the worship band at his church and playing in family settings. David and Robin had 2 beautiful children, Matt and Evan Frame who were the love of his life.
David moved back to Dallas where he began getting back into his music, writing songs and playing in several bands. David was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Anna Frame.
He is survived by his wife, Robin, 2 children, Matt and Evan, grandchildren, Hudson, Mason and Aubree, sisters, Helen Killgallon, Annette Stagmer, Teresa Walther, and many nieces and nephews.
David was loved by all his many friends and family and now is at peace with our Lord.
The family would like to thank the staff of Baylor Hospital ICU in Dallas, who were very dedicated to his care. A special thanks to Don, Kenny, Nancy, Alex and Teresa who took care of David.
Memorial Services will be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon on Friday, the 6th of January, in the Colonial Chapel of Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas.
