Celebration of life and scattering of ashes will be held in summer of 2020, off coast of Florida with family and friends.
David Bissonette was born in Winchester, Massachusetts to Donald Bissonette and Barbara Cambell on April 16th, 1948, but was raised by his Grandmother Dorothy Saltus. He graduated from Cocoa Beach High School where he was a proud catcher for his baseball team and member of the band. He married Karen Bissonette on November 30th, 2002 in Cocoa Beach, Florida. He worked at Boeing in Cape Canavral out of high school and was part of the Apollo Mission teams, from there he worked for Harris, Motorola, Northern Telecom and finished his career at AMD. He spent the last 18 years as property manager of Overlook Villa West in Lago Vista, Texas. In his free time he enjoyed baseball, golf, racquetball, watching his grandsons play sports, and traveling with his wife.
He is preceded in death by his Brother William Zuromsky and his Grandmother Dorothy Saltus and his beloved dogs Sheba and Rusty.
He is survived by Wife Karen Bissonette, Daughter Michelle Lucas and Husband Ray, Stepdaughter Helen MacLachlan, Sisters Nancy Augostino and Susan Daly, Grandchildren Tyler and Bryson Lucas.
