David Gary Arnold

His childhood was spend in Lockhart, TX with his parents, Violet Sahm Fielder and his father Ralph D. Arnold. He had one sister Janis Barrow. His family was very active with the Methodist Church. He married the love of his life Penny Nelson on August 27, 1971 and had two wonderful children David Kristopher and Tiffany Marie Arnold. He had one beautiful granddaughter D’Angela Lee Arnold.

Gary was a member of the Army National Guard of Texas and received an honorable discharge from The Armed Forces of the United States of America. He made a living as a Licensed Electrician for 45+years until his retirement in Austin, TX.

Gary was a kind, loving and selfless man. He was a caring and compassionate person and was there for his family whenever needed. He was a “Mellow Fellow” and we felt his love always, he will be greatly missed by all that knew him. We loved his smile, his hugs and kisses, and spending time together. He enjoyed riding his bike, exercising, and spending time with friends at the Capital Rod and Gun Club and catching fish when he had the chance.

He will be placed to rest at 10:00 AM on September 10, 2021 at The Mission Park Cemetery, 1700 SE Military Dr. San Antonio, Texas 78214. He will be buried next to his father Ralph Arnold. The family plans on having a Celebration of life at a later time.
