Daniel Michael Sheehan, age 71, of Austin passed away on March 9, 2010. He was born October 5, 1938 in Yonkers, New York. Daniel was a world traveler, brilliant mathematical statistician, and a friend to everyone – especially those in need. He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Joseph and mother, Alice. His survivors include his son, Daniel Karl (Mark) Sheehan, daughter, Susan Sheehan, and dearest friends, Norene M. Hughes and Karon Irby. Mr. Sheehan will lie in state at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, North Lamar on Tuesday, March 16th from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 17th in the Weed-Corley-Fish Chapel.
