Daniel Clay Blair

He graduated from Holland High School in 1986 and Park University in 2008 with a B.A. in Human Resources. He was in the United States Army as a Platoon Leader SPC. After serving his country Daniel worked at Work Force Solutions as HR Manager for 15 years and then worked at TWC as a Program Analyst. Daniel married Jamie Blair on October 30, 2010, they were married for 6 years. Daniel also enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing and playing music with his friends.

He is preceded in death by his father Stephen Blair. He is survived by his wife Jamie, daughters Danielle Blair and Tabitha Thompson and son Cordell Blair; also by his mother Carolyn Blair; brothers Dennis Blair and wife Ralene Blair, sister Diania Wheeler and husband Kevin Wheeler, brother Christopher Hart and wife Sandra. He is also survived by four grandchildren and many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the hospital nurses, staff and doctors of Seton Hospital.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 6:00-8:00pm on Thursday, the 19th of January 2017 at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 N. Lamar Blvd. Austin TX 78752.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00am on Friday, the 20th of January 2017, in the Colonial Chapel of Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas.
