Cynthia Diane Lindsay

Born on April 1, 1943, in Marlin, Texas, Cindy attended Marlin High School before moving to Austin to attend the University of Texas. A devoted Longhorn fan, she took great pride in her alma mater. Cindy built a remarkable career as a successful real estate broker and the owner of Tree Top Properties, dedicating over 40 years to shaping communities across Austin.

For over four decades, Cindy made her home in the same cherished house, building deep bonds with her neighbors, the Grisham family, with whom she shared many meals and lasting friendship. Known for her business acumen, Cindy’s compassion extended far beyond her professional success. She supported local charities throughout Austin, always extending a hand to those less fortunate.

Cindy will be remembered for her radiant smile, steadfast faith in Christ, and the kindness she showed to everyone she encountered. Her warmth and generosity left a lasting impression on the many lives she touched.

She is survived by her brother, Carey Lindsay, his wife, Ann, and their children. Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Percy Albert and Thelma Lindsay, and her brother, Prentice Albert Lindsay.

A celebration of Cindy’s life will be held on October 9, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Cook Walden Funeral Home in Austin.
