Collins Joy Pevoto, fearfully and wonderfully made by her heavenly Father, was born on October 15, 2023, to Audrey and Andrew Pevoto in Austin, Texas. They tearfully relinquished their precious first-born child back into her Maker’s arms on November 10, 2023, as the result of a congenital heart condition. She made her journey to heaven, her parents and family at her side, in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at CHRISTUS Children’s Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.
Collins was a treasured daughter who blessed her parents with twenty-six days of pure joy and delight. Her expressions and smiles were angelic, and many were captured during a photography session on what would turn out to be the day before she left us with only memories to hold. Cherished as a niece, cousin, granddaughter, and great-granddaughter, she will also be missed by her faithful furry “brother” Smith.
A celebration of Collins Joy’s life will be held at 4:00pm CST on Friday November 17, 2023, at Weed Corley Fish Funeral Home located at 5416 Parkcrest Drive in Austin, Texas. The family will be wearing light and joyful colors, to commemorate the happiness Collins brought to their lives. We encourage friends and family to dress for a Celebration of Life.

Collins is preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents Madelyn Collins and Alease Lambert, as well as her paternal great-grandparents Sophia and John Kveton and Dr. Carl Pevoto.
The family is filled with gratitude to all the individuals and health care providers who leapt into action on that tragic day. Additionally, the parents are forever thankful for the immense love and support they are receiving from friends and family, near and far. It is through their relentless faith and the support from loved ones that Audrey and Andrew will continue to be comforted during this difficult time.
