MSgt Clarence Carl Borkowski Jr, U.S. Air Force, Retired, age 75, passed from this life on October 28, 2019. He was born on October 4, 1944 in St. Joseph, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eva and Clarence C. Borkowski Sr.; brother, Steven Borkowski; and grandson, James Knoll.
He is survived by his daughters, Richie Leona Borkowski Stewart and her husband Johnny Stewart, Eva Leona Borkowski; his sisters, Nancy Buttimer and husband Jere, Mary Etta Laine and husband Robert, Kathy Hebden; brothers, Tom and Dan Borkowski. He is also survived by grandchildren, Jamie Seekford, Thomas J. Knoll, Patrick J. Stewart, Elizabeth Stewart, Julia Stewart, Senoah Lynn Stewart, Nyeli Stewart, Rhys Caden Stewart, Stephan Martin Lara, Sabrina Lara, Veronica Leona Lara and Angela Olmos; 25 great-grandchildren.
MSgt. Borkowski nicknamed “SKI” joined the United States Air Force at 17 years old in June 1962 as part of the 67th Medical Group Top 3. He served his country for 26 years with tours in France and Korea. He retired in June of 1988 at age 44 from Bergstrom AFB, Austin Texas. After his military retirement he volunteered his free time to Central Texas Food Bank, formerly known as, Capital Area Food Bank. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and VFW Post 15045 since 2016. Clarence was also a member of St. Ignatius Martyr Catholic Church.

Mass is scheduled for 10:00 am November 7, 2019 at St. Ignatius Martyr Catholic Church, 126 E. Oltorf St, Austin Texas.
Interment will follow at Onion Creek Cemetery.
