Christopher Shane Escalante

Chris is survived by his devoted wife, Carmen Escalante; daughter, Desiree; Pee Paw's beloved grandkids, Brody, Riley and Luke; loving mother, Jenny Escalante; father, Art Escalante; step-mother, Yolanda Escalante; grandmother, Jean Escalante; mother and father-in-law, Daniel and Sally Guajardo; brother-in-law, Danny Guajardo; special aunt and uncle, Nancy and Larry Metzler; very special cousins, Nick and Heather; and numerous family and friends.

Chris was an avid Texas Longhorn fan; he and his wife loved the Bobby Bones Show and Pimped Joy. He was a little league coach and was a referee for Junior High and High School Football. He was employed by the Texas Comptroller's Office as an ACO. Chris will be dearly missed by all.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress.

Funeral Service 10:00 am Monday, September 14, 2015 at Life Austin Church, 8901 W. Hwy 71, Austin, Texas 78735.

Interment will be held at Lockhart City Cemetery, Lockhart, Texas
