Christin Taylor Atchison

Christin Taylor Atchison was born in Houston, Texas on September 12th, 1995 to Cameron Atchison and Alma Webber. Christin was called into the presence of our Father on Tuesday, March 14th, 2023. Christin graduated from Cypress Ranch High School in Cypress, Texas and attended Champions School of Real Estate.

Christin was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, friend, and so much more. Christin was an aspiring hairstylist who made her family proud from the moment she entered their lives. She will be remembered by all as a beautiful, outspoken, intelligent, and compassionate woman. She was always determined to follow her own path right from the beginning. Christin’s magnetic personality and laughter brightened any room she was in which is what drew others close to her.

Christin enjoyed writing poetry, singing, gatherings with her loud and loving family and cooking, especially her favorite Mexican dishes along with Thai recipes that she learned from her stepmother. She was a tattoo enthusiast who loved her cat Chaplin, working on motorcycles, and had a deep passion for any type of music that resonated with her soul. Christin loved going to concerts and music festivals with her father and siblings. She tattooed the word “beautiful” on her wrist to remind herself and show others of all the beauty in the world.

Christin was proud to be a mother to her son Cameron. He was the light of her life and loved nothing more than spending her time with him. Together they enjoyed the Sunday morning farmers market, reading books, and singing songs. She had endless love and dreams for him that will be carried on by those that love them.

Christin touched so many lives in the years she shared with all of us. Though we wish we had more, we cherish the time we had with her, and she will be dearly missed by those that love her. She may be gone from our sight but will never be gone from our hearts, thoughts, and prayers. Christin will continue to shine bright like a DIAMOND.

Christin was preceded in death by her great-grandmothers, Socorro Cerrillo and Arlene Fezler; grandfather, Jim Atchison; uncles, Raymond Burrington and Mitch Briggs; cousins, Joshua Binder and Jacob Webber and her ride or die, April. She is survived by her son, Cameron; her parents, Cameron Atchison and Alma Webber; her stepmother Layla Atchison; her brothers, Joseph Webber and Levy Atchison; her grandparents Harriette Atchison and Jeff Leshaw, Reynaldo Webber and Sally Traweek, and Pauline and John Henson, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends who cherish her memory.

A visitation for Christin will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Weed Corley Fish Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 5416 Parkcrest Drive, Austin, Texas 78731, followed by a celebration of life from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
